Mighty No. 9 will have a Miiverse community

A few details were posted on the Mighty No. 9 website in an update shared yesterday. Based on one of the things listed – at least for the Wii U version – it sounded like there were no plans for Miiverse support.
The official Mighty No. 9 Twitter account has since clarified the situation. While the game itself won’t have any special Miiverse integration, there are still plans to add a Mighty No. 9 community to the social network.

Mighty No. 9 launches on September 15 for Wii U. The 3DS version will release a bit further down the line.

Mighty No. 9 Developer Update

Comcept and Inti Creates have decided to share a few details about their upcoming multi-platform title, Mighty No.9. Although the new details are light at this time, they have listed out some of the details by console and here is what we know so far:
Wii U
The version available will have GamePad support, but no motion control, amiibo, or Miiverse support. The details for the Classic Controller are unknown yet and are listed as TBC.
3DS
The 3DS version will be 3D enabled, as well as have Touch screen support. However it appears that there will be no SpotPass, StreetPass, or Mii support, and as with the Wii U version no amiibo.
Keep in mind some of these details could change once the game has launched, so we will keep you posted as more information is released.

Mighty No. 9 Signature Edition won’t be offered for Wii U

Yesterday, Mighty No. 9 publisher Deep Silver announced that the title would be receiving a collector’s edition. Gamers can purchase the “Signature Edition
“, which comes with a physical copy, new DLC, a foil signature and a posable Beck statue.
I’d been trying to find out if the package would be available on Wii U, but hadn’t received any sort of response. Although we now finally have an answer, it’s unfortunately not good news. Deep Silver has confirmed via Twitter that the Mighty No. 9 Signature Edition is only on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
@Shadow_Enz Can confirm that the US-only Signature Edition is only available for XB1 and PS4.

Mighty No. 9 update – Inafune sketches and the end of the beta version

If you’re taking part in the Mighty No. 9 beta and haven’t actually played it yet, you might want to get to it soon because the beta will be discontinued and no longer be available starting tomorrow, May 20th, Comcept announced in their latest development update.
Also, if you backed the project and got into the reward tier that gets you a personalized sketch from Keiji Inafune himself, rest assured that you will definitely be getting your reward. Comcept have published a video of Inafune drawing some of the over 250 sketches going out to backers. Watch it below:
