Monster Hunter Rise

Capcom has been releasing several crossover-themed pieces of downloadable content for Monster Hunter Rise, adding themed quests and armor sets based on popular characters from other Capcom games. The latest addition includes Rush from the Mega Man series, check out a trailer below.

Capcom has unveiled the latest downloadable content for Monster Hunter Rise, including the ability to play as Street Fighter’s Akuma. Check it out with the trailer below.

This content will be available on August 27, with more content headed to Monster Hunter Rise this Fall.

Monster Hunter Rise

A new Item Pack is up for grabs in Monster Hunter Rise. Capcom just made “Guild Provisions 2” available to all players for free.

The pack includes the following:

Players are now able to take on the Okami crossover event in Monster Hunter Rise. Additionally, the second Challenge Quest is now available. Both quest’s details and rewards can be seen below:

  • Quest 13: Rising Sun!? (July 30th)
    • Objective:Deliver 16 White Wolf Pictures
    • Locale:Shrine Ruins
    • Conditions:None
    • Rewards:Materials for “Ammy Costume” (Palamute layered armor set based on Amaterasu from Okami)
  • Quest 2 (July 30th)
    • Objective:Slay a Zinogre
    • Locale:Arena
    • Conditions:Hunter Rank: HR 4 or higher, Party Size: Two Players Max

Capcom has just issued a new update for Monster Hunter Rise. All Switch players can access version 3.2.0.

According to Capcom, the update adds support for the new Okami collaboration, which begins on July 30. There’s also Arabic language support and a ton of fixes.

Capcom Collab 2 will arrive on July 30, with more content headed to the title this August and Fall.

If you missed out on spirits from Monster Hunter Rise and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, its a good time to go check the shop lineup and spirit board in game. Three different spirits from each title will be available for players to permanently add to their collection, despite being event-only when first introduced. Players can now collect them at their leisure, since this time they won’t be going away. Check out the notes below via Perfectly Nintendo for details about which spirits are included:

[Spirits] Starting today, the following Spirits are now available permanently via the Spirit Boards or the Store:

  • Monster Hunter Rise: Magnamalo, Palamute, and Palico
  • Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury: Fury Bowser, Giga Cat Mario, Kittens

Capcom published a new behind-the-scenes video for Monster Hunter Rise today. It focuses on the game’s soundtrack, featuring traditional Japanese instrumentation, soothing vocals, and bombastic orchestras.

Monster Hunter Rise version 3.1.0 update

Monster Hunter Rise has been updated on Switch. If you own the game, be sure to download the new 3.1.0 patch.

Capcom provided the latest news on Monster Hunter Rise updates during its E3 2021 showcase today.

A collaboration with Monster Hunter Stories 2 goes live on June 18. It will be followed by version 3.1 on June 24, which includes the following content:
