Street Heat on the way to Switch

PQube will be publishing Street Heat on Switch, the company announced today. We can expect to see it on the eShop sometime in 2018.
Street Heat is a top-down racer with neon-noir visuals. You can compete against three other players, participate in tournaments, and more.

Gal*Gun 2 will be sold physically in the west

Inti Creates and PQube shared more on Gal*Gun 2 this week. We learned that the game is launching in Japan on March 15, with the western release set for Spring 2018.
Gal*Gun 2 won’t just be a digital title. PQube has confirmed that a physical version will be offered, and pre-orders are already live on Amazon UK. The game can be reserved here. PQube has also handled the release of its games in North America, so we should have stateside pre-order links soon as well.
In other news, PQube has updated its Gal*Gun 2 website for official details about the game’s features, story, and characters. We have all of the information below.

Gal*Gun 2 releasing Spring 2018 in North America and Europe

This past week, a Japanese release date was announced for Gal*Gun 2. It’s releasing in the territory in March 15.
Not to be outdone, PQube shared an update on the western version today. Gal*Gun 2 is coming to both North America and Europe in Spring 2018. No final date yet, but we’ll keep you updated when we have that information.

Cat Quest confirmed for November 10 on Switch

The North American Switch eShop listed Cat Quest for November 10. Thankfully, that release date was spot on. PQube and The Gentlebros have officially confirmed the November 10 release date.

PQube is publishing Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition in Europe in 2018

We recently learned about the physical version of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, titled the Ultimate Edition. XSEED Games is publishing it in North America – and today we learned that PQube will be doing the same in Europe. Naturally, all the features from the North American release will also be present here, such as the Pirate Queen’s Quest and the Friends Mode and Costumes Mode. The targeted release date is 2018.

Concept for Europe’s original Senran Kagura Burst boxart shown

Senran Kagura Burst could have ended up with a very different boxart for Europe. Originally, PQube was toying around with an idea that “would have featured Hikage, and would have had a plastic sleeve around the box that would slide off. Hikage’s out clothing would have been on the sleeve only, so that peeling off the sleeve would mimic Senran Kagura‘s well-known clothing destruction feature.”
The image below is what PQube went with for the final product. While the initial idea was abandoned, head of marketing Geraint Evans says it could be revisited at some point.
