Splatoon 2

A brand new Splatfest for Splatoon 2 has been announced. This time around, the event will be only for players in Japan.

Nintendo has teamed up with the Nippon Professional Baseball’s eSports Series for the Splatfest. Players can either side with Team Se (Central League) or Team Pa (Pacific League).

The new Splatfest in Splatoon 2 will be held next weekend in Japan.

As was announced earlier today, Nintendo is distributing another update for Splatoon 2. Version 4.7.0 is now available.

Today’s update makes changes to weapons, implements bug fixes, and more. Find the full patch notes below.

Splatoon 2 will be updated to version 4.7.0 tomorrow or later today, depending on your timezone. As per usual, the update contains a variety of balance changes to weapons and abilities. We will update you once the full English patch notes are available.

Splatoon 2 held its latest Splatfest this weekend. It was another worldwide event, pitting Team Hare up against Team Tortoise.

Following 48 hours of battles, the Splatfest has ended. Nintendo has also now shared the full results.

Both of these events will be live in North America starting at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET.

The Art of Splatoon 2, which released in Japan back in November 2017, is finally coming west. Listings on Amazon reveal that the book will be made available in North America and Europe later in the year.

Splatoon 2’s latest update has gone live, and it’s a bit of an interesting one. In case you’re curious, the new version is 4.6.1.

Nintendo’s patch notes state: “Made fixes to the data scheduled for an upcoming release.” And that’s it. Nothing else beyond that, so we’ll be left wondering what that means for the future.
