Pokemon Unite update 1.2.1.11

Pokemon Unite gained a new 1.2.1.11 update yesterday, and though it took a bit of time, The Pokemon Company has now published the full patch notes.

Below are the full patch notes for the Pokemon Unite version 1.2.1.11 update:

Pokemon Unite scoreboard

If you’ve played Pokemon Unite, you’ve probably noticed that the game doesn’t have a scoreboard. That can make it difficult to determine who’s winning a match while it’s in progress. Once a match is over, that’s when everything gets tallied up and a winner is chosen.

It turns out that the lack of a scoreboard in Pokemon Unite was a conscious decision made by the development team. Speaking with Kotaku, producer Masaaki Hoshino explained: “The matches last 10 minutes and players have the possibility of making a comeback, so we wanted people to play without giving up to the very end.”

A new 1.2.1.8 update has gone out for Pokemon Unite, and we now have the patch notes and balance changes.

Today’s update is highlighted by the addition of the Halloween Festival event and Greedent. Additionally, a number of Pokemon’s stats have changed.

Below are the full patch notes for the Pokemon Unite version 1.2.1.8 update:

Pokemon Unite Greedent

Another Pokemon is inbound for Pokemon Unite, as Greedent is about to join the game. The creature will be appearing as part of the upcoming Halloween event.

When the Halloween Festival goes live, stages will be decked out with Halloween decorations and related features. Special Holowear will also be appearing Bonfire Style: Charizard, Pajama Style: Wigglytuff, Bandit Style: Lucario, Space Style: Eldegoss, and more.
