Fans are now starting to speculate about the possibility of the launch taking place very soon after the title was spotted on the South Korean Switch eShop. According to the store, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will be available on June 16.

Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games, in partnership with Nickelodeon, today issued a second behind-the-scenes video for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. In it, the team discusses their vision for channeling and evolving the timeless fun of beat ’em ups.

Dotemu says that Tribute Games “analyzed the series’ past beat-em-ups to ensure Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge faithfully captures the spirit of TMNT and its classic games.” The team implemented “smart refinements including unique attributes and moves to accentuate each character’s personality.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge doesn’t have a release date, but it does have a release window. Publisher Dotemu, along with developer Tribute Games, confirmed that the title will be ready to go this summer on Switch.

That’s not all. It’s also been announced that the voices actors who played the Turtles in the classic 1987 animated TV series will be returning for this game. Fans can looking forward to hearing Cam Clarke (Leonardo), Townsend Coleman (Michelangelo), Barry Gordon (Donatello), and Rob Paulsen (Raphael).

In it, Tribute Games co-founder Jean-Francois Major and Dotemu CEO Cyrille Imbert discuss their lifelong dreams of working on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. The two sides teamed up to navigate the years of discussions to secure the rights to a new outing based on the Turtles’ timeless 1987 designs. Fans can learn how Shredder’s Revenge changed from a multi decade-spanning vision to reality.

Master Splinter is joining Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge as a playable character, publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games announced today.

This is the sixth character confirmed for the game. The roster also includes Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, and April O’Neil. It’s possible that there’ll be even more characters in the final release.

Steel Assault was previously only announced for PC, but we now have confirmation that it will be on Switch as well. The game will be available on September 28, so it’s just a couple of weeks away.

Steel Assault is a 16-bit retro-style action platformer, all shown in detailed pixel art and with modulation-synthesized tunes. It comes from publisher Tribute Games, the studio that previously made Panzer Paladin and is currently working on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. The project is being developed by Zenovia as its debut title.
