Mega Man 11 is newcomer and casual friendly
Posted on 6 years ago by Eric Zauch in Features, Switch, Videos | 0 comments
Mega Man as a series has not been known as a “casual” experience. The levels require patience and the robot masters require learning. This all changed when the latest Mega Man Legacy collections added accessibility with a rewind feature. Fortunately, Mega Man 11 follows suit and upgrades itself with difficulty options that will help newcomers and casuals alike. Come take a look at what the changes mean for you.

Should you play Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD?
Posted on 6 years ago by Eric Zauch in Features, Switch eShop, Videos | 0 comments
Final Fantasy XV has been but a fantasy for us Switch owners for a long time. We knew Square Enix must have something up their sleeve, but what and when? Turns out the question we should have been asking was where, for their sleeves were empty but the pockets were not. Now the cards are on the table and we know Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD is coming to consoles, the question on everyone’s mind is, is this game fit for a king or just a joker?
Is Minit worth your time?
Posted on 6 years ago by Eric Zauch in Features, Videos | 0 comments
We all enjoy killing time in some of our favourite games but what about if time killed you? In this peculiar little Zelda-like game called Minit, you have 60 seconds to progress as far as you can before time catches up with you and a curse takes your life! There’s never a dull moment in this black and white puzzling adventure. Come and discover my thoughts on the game and hurry, the clock is ticking!
I’m trying something new with this video. It will be my thoughts on the game at 3 minutes, 30 minutes and 3 hours into the game. Be sure to let me know what you think or if you have any question about Minit.
Does Bad North need some wild west?
Posted on 6 years ago by Eric Zauch in Features, Switch eShop, Videos | 0 comments
The art style may be minimalist, but make no mistake, Bad North will require maximum patience and planning to survive the Viking onslaught. I took a journey through its procedurally generated islands and lived to tell the tale. With permadeath looming over every mistake, the game relies replay value. Unfortunately, while I enjoyed coasting through Bad North’s combat, it didn’t leave me wanting more Viking blood on my hands.

What’s the best rogue-like that snuck onto the Switch?
Posted on 6 years ago by Eric Zauch in Features, Switch, Videos | 0 comments
Do my eyes deceive me or has the Switch become the new perma-home for perma-death games? For me, there is no doubt that since the Switch launched, I have developed an obsession with playing my go to rogue-like for a few minutes before bed. Those few minutes quickly turn into hours if I’m not careful, which is why these games really should come with a ‘bed time’ warning. During my insomnia I made the decision to write a list of some of my favorite rogue-like games to sneak their way onto the Switch. I’d love for you all to join the conversation and tell us about your favorite rogue-like games in the comments!

Thank you! We’ll be in touch with the winner shortly.
Top five Switch reversible boxart
Posted on 6 years ago by Eric Zauch in Features, Switch, Videos | 0 comments
Hello everyone! This might sound a little backwards, but boxart can still sell me on a game. On the flip side, I hope no one still buys all their games based off of boxart, but that’s not why we’re here. We are here to talk about reversible boxart, the stuff we don’t see on store shelves. Join me, as we take a look at Switch games inside out.

Smash Bros. Ultimate is out in December, and after watching the latest Nintendo Direct, I thought I would take the opportunity to discuss why this small time Smash Bros. fan is big time hyped. Beautiful Belmonts, tantalizing tunes, and a copious amount of content is just part of the appeal. Join the conversation and make sure to leave ‘what new character you would like to see join the battle’ in the comments!
