More Original Games, Classic Games and Recent Nintendo 3DS Hits Will Be Available Digitally in 2012

REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Nintendo 3DS owners are getting an amazing lineup of downloadable games for the holidays and beyond. Original games, classic games and demos will all be making an appearance in the Nintendo eShop. Fans also will soon find downloadable versions of select Nintendo 3DS hits that have already launched as packaged goods.

Nintendo 3DS owners will see a sequel to fan-favorite Pushmo, classics like Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania: The Adventure, plus a series of three original games developed by LEVEL-5 and several well-known Japanese collaborators.


Style Savvy: Trendsetters is coming to Europe, and its launch isn’t too far off. As revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct, the 3DS software becomes available on November 16.

One note – in Europe, the game is called New Style Boutique. And a demo is on the way, for those who care!


Nintendo has reconfirmed that Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will be available in the first quarter of 2013. Another one of the company’s titles, Fire Emblem: Awakening, has been given a vague Q2 2013 “date”.


Paper Mario: Sticker Star has received a release date, courtesy of the latest Nintendo Direct. The game launches on December 7.

North America gets Sticker Star quite a bit earlier. In the states, Mario’s next adventure comes out on November 11.


The next Pokemon title will arrive in Japan on November 23. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth is priced at 4,800 yen. The game will be available in stores and through the eShop.
