Yet another Nintendo-related interview has emerged. Believe it or not, it wasn’t conducted with Satoru Iwata or Reggie Fils-Aime, and the Wii U wasn’t brought up once!
Nintendo’s Hideki Konno has fielded all sorts of questions about Nintendo in general, including the possibility of seeing Super Mario Bros. 2’s Wart return and the chances of an Ice Hockey sequel with Mario characters.

Pokemon Conquest director would like to make a sequel

Hisashi Koinuma, the director behind Pokemon Conquest, would like to make a sequel. Nothing has been discussed just yet, but perhaps we’ll see a new game someday as a result of Koinuma’s interest.
Koinuma was actually asked if a sequel could happen on the 3DS. However, the portable wasn’t addressed specifically in his response.
Here’s Koinuma’s exact words about a Pokemon Conquest sequel:
“We really enjoyed making this title, having this collaboration. If there’s an opportunity we would like to do a sequel, but unfortunately there haven’t been any talks about that yet.”

Warren Spector down on ultraviolence

Warren Spector is getting very serious about ultraviolence in games.
Spector is becoming increasingly aware of how the industry has been “fetishizing violence, and now in some cases actually combining it with an adolescent approach to sexuality.” This has become more noticeable in the past year.
He advises that those involved with games “have to stop loving it.”

Family Tennis 3D confirmed for North American eShop

The 3DS download “Family Tennis 3D” will be heading to the North American eShop in the near future. Today’s store update confirms that the digital release from Arc System Works will be arriving “soon”. It’ll be priced at $6.99.
Other upcoming downloadable games include Order Up!! ($9.99), Slitherlink by Nikoli ($4.99), Akari by Nikoli ($4.99), and Johnny Kung Fu ($5.99).
