Super Mario Party Jamboree

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Super Mario Party Jamboree appears for the first time.

Monolith Soft new RPG

Monolith Soft today opened several positions at the company for a “new RPG”. Positions include a 2D designer, 3DCG designers, development environment engineer, field level designer, assistant director, animator, and effects designer.

Note that the game will be developed by Monolith Soft 1st Production Team. This is the same group that has created the Xenoblade Chronicles games. 

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include the lowest prices ever for Batman: Arkham Trilogy, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection, and more.

A demo for Shadow of the Ninja: Reborn is on the way, it’s been announced.

The trial lets players experience the first level in the game. Players can tackle it alone or with a friend via local co-op.

The Shadow of the Ninja: Reborn demo should be available later today in Europe. It will also be rolling out in North America sometime this week.

Long Dark Tales From the Far Territory Expansion Pass DLC

It took a bit of time, but Switch players can now get their hands on the Tales From the Far Territory Expansion Pass DLC for The Long Dark, Hinterland Studio has announced. The DLC originally started to roll out in 2022.

Darkest Dungeon II physical

Darkest Dungeon II recently came to Switch as a digital game, but now we have confirmation that a physical release is happening as well.

Skybound Games will be distributing the title at retail. You’ll actually be getting more than just the game here. Each unit includes a redemption code for the original soundtrack, stagecoach papercraft with assembly instructions, and sleeve packaging.
