June 3: Metal Slug Tactics has finally resurfaced, revealing a new release window and a trailer.
Metal Slug Tactics was announced for Switch in 2021. Originally planned for 2022, it was delayed to 2023. Another delay ended up happening and it was quietly pushed to this year. Now we’re hearing that it’s dropping this fall.

2D platformer Froggy Bouncing Adventures hitting Switch this week

Froggy Bouncing Adventures will be releasing on Switch in just a few days, Ratalaika Games and 9Ratones have announced. It’s slated for June 14, 2024.
Froggy Bouncing Adventures is a 2D platformer focused on precision challenges. Players can go through 60 levels, unlock hats along the way, and more.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet announce Tera Raid Battle event with Emboar

There’s yet another special Tera Raid Battle event on the way for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, this time featuring Emboar.
Emboar won’t be easy to take down as it will appear in 7 Star Raids. It’s carrying the Emboar Tera Type and as usual, comes with the Mightiest Mark. Just like we’ve seen before, you can catch it just once per save file.

Sonic x Shadow Generations won’t have a Chao Garden, but Sonic Team open to bringing it back

Following fan speculation that Sonic x Shadow Generations could be bringing back the Chao Garden, Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka has confirmed that it won’t be in the game.
Chao Gardens are largely known from their appearance in the Sonic Adventure series. Players can essentially raise Chao as digital pets. Fans have been clamoring for the gameplay feature to return, but we haven’t seen much of it in recent years.

Sonic Team boss says Shadow “doesn’t really need a gun”

If there’s one thing you may remember about the 2005 game Shadow the Hedgehog, it’s that the character used a gun. However, since then, SEGA has moved away from that.
Shadow is now getting his own campaign again as part of Sonic x Shadow Generations. This time around though, he won’t be wielding a gun at all – and it’s something Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka doesn’t feel is truly necessary.
