What The Duck

Publisher Untold Tales and developer Seize Studios have announced What the Duck, and it’s only a week away. It’s due out for Switch on November 9, 2023.

What the Duck is an action adventure RPG featuring exploration, crafting, combat, and rhythm games. The premise is that while everyone around you can summon and control their own mighty spirit animal, yours is actually a duck.

Thirsty Suitors launch trailer

One last trailer is here for Thirsty Suitors to promote the game’s launch. The title features a mix of turn-based combat, skateboarding, and cooking.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Mii Racing Suits, Music Player

Original (11/1): Nintendo has announced another bonus for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, as new Mii Racing Suits are set to be added to the game.

16 costumes in total are being added, with a bonus Daisy Racing Suit obtainable by scanning any Daisy amiibo. This is set to roll out on November 9, the same day that the new tracks and characters will be available. Nintendo just unveiled the full lineup of tracks, which you can read more about here.

Vampire Survivors Whiteout update 1.7.0

The Switch version of Vampire Survivors just received a major 1.7.0 update known as “Whiteout”. 

The update includes a new snowy stage (Whiteout) alongside the frosty warrior She-Moon Eeta, the icy spiky new weapon Glass Fandango, a new character evolution, and six extra achievements. That’s not all though as it also comes with a bunch of fixes and other aspects.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Invader Zim

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has once again released a character spotlight trailer, this time for Invader Zim.

He’s small and light, but he has many tools at his disposal including GIR – who can be controlled at any time, even when you’re being hit. Zim is also capable of using a slow explosion, Lawn Gnomes, Minimoose, and more. Something to keep in mind is that Zim has poor recovery.

Yohane the Parhelion Blaze in the Deepblue demo

Yohane the Parhelion: Blaze in the Deepblue, the next game from Inti Creates, just received a demo on Switch. It’s accessible on the eShop.

The demo lets players experience three early areas – the Sunken Temple, Grotto, and Ruins – and explore the game before release. They can try out the Cast system used to craft equipment, search nooks and crannies in search of powerful bosses and treasure, and defeat monsters and pick up Musical Scores to use Yohane’s power-up mode where she sings her newest song, “Deep Blue”.
