FDG Entertainment has two games on Switch right now: Oceanhorn and Blossom Tales. Between them, they’ve collectively sold over 100,000 copies.

FDG just announced the news on Twitter:


Oceanhorn and Blossom Tales have both done very well on Switch. The former sold more copies on Switch than on all other consoles combined while the latter sold double the amount of units on Switch launch day vs. lifetime sales on Steam.

Ice Cream Surfer previously arrived on a Nintendo console. Back in 2014, Dolores Entertainment published the game on Wii U.

Ice Cream Surfer is now coming to Switch as well. Dolores Entertainment announced the news on Twitter, indicating that a release is coming soon.

Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against Japanese mobile game company Colopl. According to an official statement from Colopl, Nintendo claims that five tech patents have been violated. One of these includes using a touch panel to manipulate a joystick.

Nintendo is currently seeking $40 million in damages. When a verdict is delivered, we’ll let you know.

It’s been awhile since Pokemon Shuffle received a new update on 3DS, but the latest patch can now be downloaded. Version 1.5.0 has been introduced with a few new features.

Here’s the full rundown:

– New Trainer Rank system: gives you various rewards based on the number of Pokemon that you have captured
– These include Mega Speedups, Raise Max Levels and even Mega Stones
– 30 ranks in total
– New gifts obtained via checking in regularly with it cycling through 15 different gifts: Hearts + 5, Moves +5, Exp. Booster S, Hearts + 5, Skill Booster S, Mega Start, Hearts + 5, Disruption Delay, Exp. Booster M, Raise Max Level, Hearts + 5, Exp. Booster L, Time + 10, Hearts + 10, Jewel
– Can now use Jewels to unlock batches of stages if you have yet to complete them so your progression is not hindered if you can’t do some stages
– Use the team you used last time if you then change it, using a special arrow on the selection screen

Nintendo Switch

Last week, Nintendo reported that Switch has become the fastest-selling home gaming console in the US. Over 4.8 million units have been sold in the country thus far.

Nintendo is also finding similar success in Italy. The Big N says that Switch is selling faster than the Wii through the system’s first ten months, matching the same feat in the US.

A new video has surfaced for Switch’s new Japanese rhythm game Gal Metal featuring Marty Friedman, who was the Megadeth lead guitarist. Have a look at it below.

Pokemon GO will soon be ending support for Apple devices that cannot upgrade to iOS. These include iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c models.

In a statement, Niantic said that the move “is a result of improvements to Pokémon GO that push the application beyond the capabilities of the operating systems on such devices.” When the change takes place on February 28, you won’t be able to access your account from the impacted device, or use PokeCoins or other items in your Bag.

Miitomo has been updated with new content. Players can nab the latest items in the Miitomo Drop stage, “Easy there, cowboy! A Miitomo Western #2”.
