Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo

Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo has just been revealed. The device will launch worldwide in early 2025, but Nintendo Switch Online members can get their hands on it early.

Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo is an interactive alarm clock with motion sensor technology that responds to your movements. 35 scenes inspired by five Nintendo titles are included – specifically Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4 and Ring Fit Adventure. In the future, scenes from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be made available via free updates, which can be accessed with a Nintendo Account.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Legends of the Zone Trilogy release date

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Legends of the Zone Trilogy gained a release date, and the packaging is launching earlier than expected. GSC confirmed the launch for October 31, 2024.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Legends of the Zone Trilogy was announced for Switch at the end of August in a Nintendo Direct. Originally, it was planned for November. Shadow of Chornobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008), and Call of Prypiat (2009) will all be included.

House of Golf 2

Starlight Games is working on a new Switch version of House of Golf 2, the developer announced today. The port launches before the end of 2024.

House of Golf 2 is a golf game with over 100 holes, multiplayer support with up to four players, and more.

Outright Games Switch

Even though Nintendo fans are itching to get their hands on the company’s next piece of hardware, many publishers and developers will continue supporting Switch – including Outright Games.

Chris Rose, who served as the production director on SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game, spoke with VideoGamer about plans for Switch going forward. While many will move on and welcome the additional power that Nintendo’s new console brings, Rose feels that abandoning the current system would be a mistake. The big reason is the install base – nearly 150 million Switch systems have been sold around the world.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate update 13.0.3

Nintendo has unexpectedly released a new update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, bringing the game to version 13.0.3.

Today’s update is about addressing an issue regarding Global Smash Power. Nintendo points out that the patch may cause compatibility issues with previous versions, so players are advised to convert them to video before installing the update.

Backrooms: Partygoers

August 15: Mascot Bro Studios passed along the news that its new game Backrooms: Partygoers will be released on Switch. The title arrives this Halloween.

Backrooms: Partygoers is a horror game that “plunges you into the darkest corners of an endless, decaying maze filled with the echoes of forgotten screams and the malevolent presence of Partygoers – distorted creatures that thrive on terror.” You’ll take on the role of as a researcher tasked with finding anomalies.

Super Mario Party Jamboree demo

Super Mario Party Jamboree doesn’t appear to be getting a demo on the Switch eShop, but multiple retailers have the game to try out right now. This technically was first made available on October 4, but Nintendo shared the news on social media today.

Select Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Walmart locations all have the game on display. During the ten-minute timed demo for Super Mario Party Jamboree, players can try out Koopathlon and Minigame Bay. Minigame Bay limits the modes to Showdown Minigame Battle, Free Play, and Tag Match.

The Jackbox Survey Scramble

September 26: The Jackbox Survey Scramble was just announced for Switch, making it the second release of the year from Jackbox Games. Expect it on Switch at the end of October.

The Jackbox Survey Scramble is a new party experience featuring four game modes – Hilo, Speed, Squares, and Bounce with more planned for the future. The experience changes based on answers submitted by real players.
