The leaks are still going strong from the recent Game Freak hack, and fans have now found quite a bit of cut content from Pokemon Sun and Moon.
First, at one point a Flying-type evolution was being considered for Eevee. However, it seems that the design was too similar to a different fan-made design and “costs would be very high”. The note from Game Freak states: “If there is a game where Flying Eevee is the main character, or if there is high value in the game, then it is not worth the high cost.” Ultimately, it was put on hold. The leak also reveals a scrapped Fire-type regional Pikachu/Raichu evolution, but no further details are available.
