Since we know Rune Factory 4 is coming to North America, let’s take another look at the game:

Onimusha and Dino Crisis have been dormant for many, many years (we’re not counting Onimusha Soul, by the way!). Fans have occasionally requested the return of both series, but Capcom isn’t heading in that direction for now.

Resident Evil: Revelations producer Masachika Kawata, who was involved with both franchises in the past, noted that “it’s more important for us to focus on creating new IP as we move forward.”

He said:

“Capcom has obviously never shied away from bringing back our older IPs to new generations, but I do think it’s more important for us to focus on creating new IP as we move forward.”

EA officially announced Madden NFL 25 today… for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Notice anything missing there? Yep, as far as we know, the next Madden isn’t coming to Wii U.

We reached out to EA earlier today for platform clarification, but have not heard back as of yet. Unfortunately, it looks like Nintendo systems will be left out of the Madden action this year.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
In Disney’s most ambitious video game initiative ever, Disney Infinity introduces an all-new game universe where a spark of imagination unlocks a fantastical world where players have unprecedented freedom and endless opportunity to create stories and play experiences starring the beloved characters from Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios’ most popular franchises.

For the first time, players will place real-world interactive figures – characters, power discs and Play Set pieces – on a device called the “Disney Infinity Base” to activate original, story-driven adventures in the game worlds, also known as “Play Sets,” of “Monsters University,” “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “The Incredibles.” In each respective ”Play Set,” players will take on the role of a variety of popular characters including Sulley, the naturally gifted scarer; Captain Jack Sparrow, the sword-wielding double crosser; and Mr. Incredible, one of the world’s greatest crime-fighters, and battle enemies, solve challenging puzzles, overcome obstacles and complete a variety of other unique quests.

LEGO City: Undercover has a massive amount of content. Along with a huge world and tons of items to collect, the game also packs in 290 costumes. That should make up for the lack of different playable characters that are traditionally included in LEGO titles.

Speaking with ONM, executive producer Loz Doyle said that his team added “more than we had planned to include.” He also commented on the varied gameplay featured in LEGO City:

“There is a huge variety of gameplay outside of the story. In fact there’s more than we had planned to include. There’s so much more outside of the story. As a robber you can steal cars and try to outrun the police, take part in vehicle and free-running time trials, be a limousine driver, catch renegade aliens, rescue cats, put out fires… The list goes on.”

Two Tribes pushed back Toki Tori 2 late last year, just days before the game was set to launch on the Wii U eShop. In a blog post today, the developer explained the reasoning for its decision to delay the game.

Collin van Ginkel, one of the developers, noted how he started to think of a new puzzle idea in early December. He also began to consider why Two Tribes would be submitting Toki Tori 2 to Nintendo in just a couple of days – why the team was pushing for a release before Christmas, why everyone was putting so much pressure on themselves, and more.

The chances of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance landing on Wii U aren’t high, but there is a small glimmer of hope for the future.

When asked about want it would take to get the game on Wii U, Platinum Games’ Jean Kellams said Konami would need to see demand from fans. The publisher would also have to approach Platinum before anything is set in motion.

Kellams wrote on Twitter:
