Road Rash creator looking to talk with EA about new entry, “amazed” by fan interest
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
Earlier this week, Road Rash co-designer Dan Geisler said that he would take to Kickstarter for a new Road Rash if there was enough fan interest. The response was very positive to say the least.
Geisler now sounds quite eager to move ahead with a new Road Rash and is currently talking with EA about how it can happen.
Geisler told Destructoid:
“I am amazed at the level of interest in the remake. I feel this needs to happen. As to EA, I’m having discussions with my Chief Technology Officer about it now.”
It’ll be interesting to see what EA has to say about the situation!

It has taken over a decade for Nintendo to come out with a second Luigi’s Mansion game in Dark Moon. Nintendo is not, however, making the game themselves. Next Level Games is handing the primary development of the 3DS title.
Next Level Games’ Bryce Holliday recently spoke about the need to “respect the original developers and the fans” when it comes to “sequelling or bringing back a franchise”. At the same time, he acknowledged that “you can also figure out what’s different from then to now, and one of the big differences is the hardware has changed.”
“When you’re sequelling or bringing back a franchise, you need to respect the original developers and the fans of the product. But you can also figure out what’s different from then to now, and one of the big differences is the hardware has changed.”

LEGO City: Undercover is a 22GB download

Maybe this is why LEGO City: Undercover requires an external hard drive in order to initiate a download from the eShop.
The new Wii U game seems to take up a massive amount of space. LEGO City’s file size clocks in at 22GB or so – an unpredictably high figure.
Of course, you could always opt for the retail version of LEGO City. You won’t have to worry about hard drive space if you choose this option.
