Level-5 revealed a new Professor Layton title during today’s Nintendo Direct. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino announced that Professor Layton Choubunmei to A no Isan is on the way to the 3DS in 2013.

Players can expect new puzzles. Apparently this will be, chronologically, the last adventure for Professor Layton.

This should begin in about a half hour. The presentation will last 47 minutes, and, as usual, Nintendo will show trailers after the main event ends.

It’s almost that time again, folks! The latest Nintendo Direct is just a few hours away. The Japanese presentation will begin at 7 AM EDT / 4 AM PDT.

Since there won’t be matching videos in North America and Europe, today’s stream is expected to be smaller in scale. There will be updates for the 3DS and Wii, and we’ll likely see more of Animal Crossing: Jump Out and Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

Keep track of Nintendo Everything for live updates throughout the presentation.

Blaster Master will be hitting the Japanese eShop as a Famicom download on September 5 for 500 yen. Screenshots of the game can be found above.
