We previously mentioned that Quest of Dungeons has a September 1 release date in Europe on Wii U. The 3DS version is still coming, but it’s in lot check at the moment – meaning no date yet. As for North America, both versions are pending (though still planned of course).

Quest of Dungeons will cost €8.99. Even better, when both versions are available, cross-buy will be supported. Buying the game on Wii U will net you the 3DS version for free, and vise versa.

Quest of Dungeons will support off-TV play and the Pro Controller on Wii U. The 3DS version officially has StreetPass functionality, in which you encounter the ghost of another player’s failed attempts and try to kill/loot.

Chain Blaster originally landed on the North American 3DS eShop back in 2013. In Europe, however, it never was published – until now. Basically out of nowhere, the eShop lists Chain Blaster for release in Europe on September 1. It will cost €4.99.

For those who didn’t follow Chain Blaster back in the day, here’s an overview:

Set in the future, a deadly virus infiltrates the world’s super computer and puts on standby the world’s nuclear weapons ready for launch. With the world on the brink of destruction, take control of an anti-virus ship and go head to head with the virus, taking on wave after wave of enemy ships in a fierce battle to save the world.

Use special shots known as Chain Blasts to counter the virus ships as they swarm together in attack formations. Trigger a Chain Blast at just the right point to set in motion a combo explosion that will take out the entire chain of enemies. The more enemies you take out in one blast the higher your score. Upload your Top Score online and see how you stack up against players from around the world.

It’s a triple dose of Kirby classics on the eShops this week in North America. Aside from Kirby’s Epic Yarn and Kirby Mass Attack on Wii U, Kirby’s Dream Course is slated for New 3DS.

Nintendo’s website has the following overview:

“Scan the course and check out the obstacles ahead. Get ready for the most surprising game play imaginable in Kirby’s battle against King Dedede! This checkerboard challenge brings outrageous hazards and bizarre surfaces. Gordo, Kracko, Whispy Woods and a cast of zany characters await you. Gain special powers including Fireball, Freeze, and Spark. Transform your enemies into stars revealing eight hidden cups. Control the force and angle of your shot and sink Kirby for a hole-in-one!”

Kirby’s Dream Course will be available tomorrow for $7.99.

Quest of Dungeons has been dated for Europe. According to an eShop listing, the Wii U version will be out on September 1 for €8.99. There’s no 3DS date yet, but it’d be extremely surprising if it didn’t launch on the same day.

We’ve included a trailer for Quest of Dungeons below. You can also find an overview past the break.
