We have one more nugget about Nintendo’s Treehouse stream for tomorrow. A press release just sent out mentions that the company will be showing off “a new role-playing IP for Nintendo 3DS.”

That’s literally all we have on this, unfortunately. Nintendo makes it sound like it’s something entirely new, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a localization or an eShop title. Regardless, we’ll find out tomorrow!

Two more games are now confirmed for tomorrow’s Treehouse stream. According to Nintendo, Yo-kai Watch 2 and Rhythm Heaven Megamix will both be appearing. That’s in addition to Paper Mario: Color Splash, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, Monster Hunter Generations, Dragon Quest VII, and Mario Party: Star Rush (which isn’t in Nintendo’s new press release, but was confirmed earlier today).

Pokemon GO will also be getting a developer Q&A. We’ll apparently be hearing about a new RPG IP for 3DS as well.

Nintendo has started sending out an Eiji Aonuma Mii to 3DS owners in both North America and Europe. If you have SpotPass enabled, you should be seeing him show up very soon (if not already).

Aonuma’s message? “Let’s get wild”. He’s also been showing playing Zelda: Tri Force Heroes recently.

New information unveiled at today’s Nintendo E3 Treehouse Live @ E3 presentation, including Battle Royal, Magearna details, new Pokémon and more…

London, United Kingdom – June 14, 2016 – During today’s Nintendo Treehouse Live at E3 presentation, new information and features were revealed for the highly anticipated Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon video games coming exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Details of three brand-new Pokémon that will be discovered as players explore the Alola region have now been officially unveiled—introducing Pikipek, Yungoos and Grubbin.

The first of the new Pokémon revealed is the Normal- and Flying-type Woodpecker Pokémon Pikipek, which can bore holes in trees by striking them up to 16 times per second. These strikes can do more than drill through hard wood—they can even shatter stone. Pikipek can attack distant opponents by firing seeds with enough force to embed them into the trunks of trees. This Pokémon also likes small glittering objects and will hide these amongst their food stores.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Sun have received a new trailer for E3 showing off the latest Pokemon and Battle Royal. See it below.

A new Pokemon Sun/Moon mode just debuted during Nintendo’s E3 Treehouse stream. Through what was shown, we were given a first look at “Battle Royal”.

Battle Royal is a new multiplayer mode. In it, four players compete in a free-for-all with three Pokemon that are sent out one-by-one. As soon as someone loses all of their Pokemon, it ends and players are tallied by defeated Pokemon and remaining Pokemon. This determines who wins.
