The original Mutant Mudds launches in Japan on June 24. When that happens, those who purchase the game will be entitled to a free 3DS theme through July 23. It’ll cost 100 yen after that date.
Renegade Kid also has plans to distribute the 3DS theme in North America and Europe. There’s no date yet for its availability, however.

3DS now the 8th Nintendo system to sell 15 million units in the United States
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS, News | 2 Comments
Sales of the 3DS have surpassed 15 million units in the United States, Nintendo announced today. In doing so, it’s become the eighth system in the company’s history to reach this feat.
Super Mario 3D Land, Pokemon X, Pokemon y, Mario Kart 7, and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS have all sold more than 2 million copies in the U.S.
Nintendo says that, through the first six months of 2015, 3DS hardware sales have risen by more than 50 percent over sales in the same period in 2014. The system’s growth comes in large part due to the launch of the New 3DS XL, which shipped in mid-February.
Nintendo has sold nearly 270 million units of hardware since the NES debuted in the fall of 1985 – almost 145 million units of handhelds, and another 125 million home console units.
Head past the break to read up on today’s announcement in full.

The Great Ace Attorney – Susato details
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
One of the most recent videos for The Great Ace Attorney had series creator Shu Takumi talking about the heroine, Susato Mikotoba. Details translated from the video are posted below (thanks Siliconera).
– Susato travels alongside Ryunosuke in his voyage to the United Kingdom
– Susato’s name was made from letters that Takumi felt were pretty, as he aligned them together
– She meets the requirements of being what’s called a “legal affairs girl”
– This is essentially a position that helps out attorneys
– Susato likes mystery novels, including stories with Sherlock Holmes
– She’s an informative lady since she’s big on reading
– Susato will often help out with useful information, and will occasionally say some strange but interesting quotes
– She also has a bit of a sweet tooth
– Susato’s design was made with a graceful Japanese woman as the main focus
– Seemed fitting to have her in a kimono given the time period
– Takumi had different kinds of ideas such as make her look like this, and have her holding this or that
– In the end, he decided that her looks would be best kept simple
– At times, she may seem more like an adult compared to Ryunosuke, but that is precisely what makes the two work well together as characters
