[Let’s Talk] Will you be buying the Switch Lite?
Posted on 5 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk, Switch | 0 comments
The biggest Nintendo news of the week was undoubtedly the announcement of the Switch Lite. Out of nowhere, the news was casually dropped on Wednesday morning.
Nintendo has described the Switch Lite as a fully dedicated handheld gaming experience. Output to the TV is gone, as is the ability to detach the Joy-Con as well as several features like HD Rumble. However, the price is significantly cheaper, it’s a bit lighter, and the battery should last longer. Oh, and now there’s finally a proper d-pad.
We want to know: will you be purchasing the Switch Lite when it launches later this year? Or are you perfectly fine with the current Switch you have? Perhaps you don’t have the system yet and this will be a new opportunity to get in on the fun. No matter your situation, let us know how you’re feeling about the Switch Lite below.

Just when some had thought that Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct could be ending with the announcement of Banjo-Kazooie in Smash Bros. Ultimate, fans were treated to one more surprise. We were given a first look look at Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 with a minute-long trailer. Although gameplay wasn’t shown, Nintendo left plenty of hints and sequences that will leave fans speculating about what’s to come for months on end.
Since everyone has had a couple of weeks to sit on the news, we wanted to hold our first Let’s Talk discussion about the game. What is everyone hoping to see in Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2? What changes or improvements would you want to see Nintendo implement? Do you have any theories about the story you’d like to share? Let us know in the comments below.

[Let’s Talk] E3 2019 hopes and dreams

Two weeks from today, E3 will technically be kicking off. Nintendo has three tournaments scheduled for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario Maker 2, and Splatoon 2 on June 8. Companies will also begin to hold conferences and presentations on June 9, with the much-anticipated Nintendo Direct planned for June 11. The E3 festivities will then continue through June 13.
We’re bound to get announcements throughout the entirety of E3 week, but the Nintendo Direct is when fans of the Big N will be paying attention in particular. Nintendo has said it will focus on software planned for Switch in 2019, but we’re bound to get a reveal or two. The spotlight should also be put on the likes of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Pokemon Sword/Shield, Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion, Astral Chain, and more.
Since we’re so close to E3, we want to know about your hopes and dreams for the show. If Nintendo were to announce one new game, what would you want it to be? What are your expectations for E3 in general? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.

Posted on 5 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk, Switch | 0 comments
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s big 3.0 update has been available for a few weeks now. That means players have access to the new content and features, including Stage Builder. The great thing about the Stage Builder is that anyone can easily create a level, upload it online, and have it played by others right away. Of course, some have received more recognition than others – and the “Yeah!” system also comes in to play, where highly-rated creations will be easier to spot.
Since Stage Builder has been up and running for awhile, we want to know what favorites you’ve come across thus far. Is there a level you’ve made that you’d like to share? Let us know in the comments below.
