There is some talk that the official Zelda timeline has been revealed inside the pages of Hyrule Historia.

This is how it goes, supposedly:

New preview pages from Hyrule Historia have been published, and they’re quite interesting to say the least.

One page shows a variety of concept art created for Twilight Princess’ Midna – you might be surprised with some of the designs. There are other new pages included as well (and some old ones that are much, much larger than the images added to our initial post about Hyrule Historia). Zelda fans will most definitely want to take a look at the gallery above.

Japanese Zelda fans will be able to purchase new Zelda t-shirts between December 24 and February 20. Nintendo is teaming up with The King of Games, who will distribute the Forest Green and Black shirts next May. Both options come in a variety of sizes and will be sold for 5,500 yen.

It’s almost hard to believe that The World Ends with You launched for the DS over three years ago. But indeed, that is the case. The game has been out for such a long time that it’s curious how Square Enix registered a new Japanese trademark for the IP very recently.

This doesn’t mean that we’ll be seeing more of The World Ends with You anytime soon, though is is interesting nonetheless. Characters from the title will be appearing in Kingdom Hearts 3D, and Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura has expressed interest in revisiting the franchise. It’d be great if we saw a sequel one day.

Not much to say here. Both batteries are rather poor. The 3DS lasted two hours and thirty-five minutes white the PlayStation Vita gave out after three hours and forty-seven minutes.

This is very, very neat. It combines the style of Link’s Awakening while incorporating elements of Skyward Sword. What do you guys think about it?

Thanks to Sakura for the tip!

Nintendo has announced a new art book, Hyrule Historia, that’s coming out in Japan on December 23 for 3,255 yen. You can check out a sneak preview of it in the gallery above.

There’s a look to be found inside the package. 67 pages are dedicated to Skyward Sword, another 70 pages examine The World of Hyrule (including timeline talk), and there are sections that provide a look at Link’s character designs through the years.

Additionally, Hyrule Historia contains plenty of art from the various Zelda titles:

The Legend of Zelda – 4 pages
Link’s Adventure & Link to the Past – 2 pages
Link’s Awakening – 1 page
Ocarina of Time – 6 pages
Majora’s Mask – 3 pages
Wind Waker – 10 pages
Oracle series – 6 pages
Twilight Princess – 32 pages
Phantom Hourglass – 4 pages
Spirit Tracks – 22 pages

If you’re a Zelda fan, you’ll probably want this art book. At this time though, it’s only been announced for a Japanese release. We’ll let you know if Nintendo shares plans to bring Hyrule Historia elsewhere.
