Nintendo Everything reader Pie has informed us of issues he’s having on Club Nintendo. He’s been trying to register an eligible product on the site, but things aren’t working properly.
Here’s what Nintendo customer service said about the situation:
Thanks for writing. I appreciate your contacting us regarding the Coin issue you experienced when registering eligible products via Club Nintendo. Our site should be operating normally within the next couple of days, so I ask that you please check back. If the situation continues after the next 2-3 days, we will contact you again to let you know. You have our most sincere apologies for any inconvenience this matter may have caused you.
Periodically, our website may experience technical problems or maintenance issues. When this occurs, you can be assured that we are hard at work getting the site running properly as quickly as possible.
I wouldn’t worry about this too much. If you’re having issues, I imagine things will be fixed before the end of the week – just like Nintendo said.

G4 is no more. The channel will be rebranded as the Esquire channel in the first half of 2013.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that when the new channel launches, it will broadcast programming such as cooking, travel and fashion. Gaming content will be shown as well.
With the move, Esquire parent Hearst Corporation is looking “to capture a growing, upscale demographic that isn’t being reached through other male networks, including adrenaline-heavy Spike and History.”

Square Enix opens Theatrhythm Final Fantasy teaser site

Square Enix opened a new Theatrhythm Final Fantasy teaser site earlier today. It doesn’t contain much, other than music cues moving across the screen and the words “Coming Soon.”
There’s speculation that this could be related to an iOS/Android port or something of that nature. That wouldn’t be a huge surprise given that Square Enix has already brought over titles such as The World Ends with You.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see…

Capcom talks Mega Man’s future
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
It’s been a rough couple of years for Mega Man. Within the past 24 months or so, two games in the series were cancelled. Capcom pulled the plug on both Mega Man Legends 3 and Mega Man Universe in 2011.
But now things are starting to look slightly brighter. Capcom today announced a free, downloadable PC game called “Street Fighter X Mega Man”. And beyond this, it sounds like there could be big things ahead for the Blue Bomber.
Capcom USA senior vice president Christian Svensson spoke about Mega Man’s struggles and future approach to the IP in an interview with IGN. You can see what he had to say after the break. There are also some notes on how the Street Fighter X Mega Man project materialized as well as a hint that Capcom will begin sharing some of its more important Mega Man news starting on December 17 – the series’ 25th anniversary.
