Kirby and the Forgotten Land Present Codes

Kirby and the Forgotten Land just made it to Switch, and players can take advantage of several Present Codes. When registered in-game at Waddle Dee-liveries, they provide a variety of different items.

Apex Legends was only just announced for Nintendo Switch 2 last week, but it came out yesterday. We now have a first look with a bunch of footage.

Compared to the experience on Nintendo’s previous console, Apex Legends looks to be significantly improved on Switch 2 from a technical standpoint – which is to be expected. Other outlets should be taking a more in-depth look, but it runs at higher resolution with smoother performance.

Minecraft 1.21.100 update

The latest Minecraft update is here with version 1.21.100. Xbox Game Studios and Mojang Studios issued the patch on Nintendo Switch as well as other platforms.

One of the big things here is the inclusion of copper items. Also included are the latest adjustments, bug fixes, and more.

Alawar is putting Karate Survivor on various consoles including Nintendo Switch, the developer announced today. It will be available on August 28, 2025.

Karate Survivor is a martial arts roguelite that channels the power of 80s action movies. Players can fight in various ways, including with their hands and feet, a fish from a grocery store cooler, a lounge chair, and more.

Arcade Archives D-Day

D-Day is coming to Nintendo Switch as the latest Arcade Archives game, it’s been announced. A worldwide release is planned for tomorrow, August 7.

Jaleco was behind the original version of D-Day. The game, which first appeared in 1984, is a shoot ’em up title.

Game Builder Garage 1.1.1 update

Those using Game Builder Garage can now download a new version 1.1.1 update. This is primarily intended for Nintendo Switch 2 players, but it can be downloaded on Switch 1 as well.

The patch notes are light, with Nintendo mentioning that it has addressed “issues with system functionality”. These unspecified problems were occurring on Nintendo Switch 2 only.

Super Mario Party Jamboree 2.1.1 update

Heads up for Super Mario Party Jamboree players: a new version 2.1.1 update just went live. The patch can be downloaded on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

The update addresses a single issue. Last week, due to some sort of glitch, Nintendo temporarily disabled uploading new records to the online leaderboards. Thankfully, after just under a week, that has now been addressed.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Ultimate Complete Works

Udon is working on Marvel vs. Capcom: Ultimate Complete Works, the company has announced. Retailers have it down for December 2, 2025.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Official Complete Works originally released over a decade ago. With this new version though, 140 pages have been added.

Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles 2 trailer

A fresh launch trailer is available for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2. With the game, players journey as Tanjiro Kamado and face off against evil demons in key moments from the “Entertainment District Arc,” “Swordsmith Village Arc,” and “Hashira Training Arc”.
