Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Shiny Chien-Pao distribution released for a limited time

A new Shiny Chien-Pao distribution is now available in both Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. It can be obtained through Mystery Gift.
This is part of a recent promotion. Recently, players were tasked with defeating Shiny Chien-Pao at least one one million times collectively in Tera Raid Battles. The final tally was well beyond that, coming in at 5,020,994. This means that the distribution has unlocked.

First Elden Ring Nintendo Switch 2 footage surfaces, 15 minutes in total

The very first footage is now in showing Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition running on Nintendo Switch 2.
It seems that the game is playable at Fan Expo in Canada this week. We have docked footage, showing around 14 minutes of gameplay in total.

Today, Panic and Shaun Inman announced Ratcheteer for Nintendo Switch. We’ll be seeing it sometime in 2026.
Ratcheteer originally debuted as part of Playdate Season One. For the new DX version, it’s now in full color, new visual filters are planned, the stereo soundtrack will be in uncompressed CD-quality, and support for ten new languages will be added in.

Good Boy, the first Team17-published Nintendo Switch 2 game, has just been announced. The project has been revealed, though there’s no word on launch timing.
Observer Interactive is developing the new game, which is an ecosystem-driven Metroidvania. As a LAIKA Space Rover, you’ll uncover the ancient mysteries of the planet Terra II as you capture and research alien creatures, complete quests for the other Rovers, and forge a bond with your new human friend.

Dreamed Away gets Nintendo Switch release date, new trailer

Pineapple Works announced today that Dreamed Away will be released on Nintendo Switch on October 23. The title was successfully funded through Kickstarter.
Dreamed Away is a pixel art RPG set in France during the 1990s. Players take on the role of Théo, who wakes up one rainy summer night to discover his parents and sister are missing. As he searches for his sister Louise, he explores catacombs and other unsettling places filled with ghosts and phantoms.

Hollow Knight: Silksong getting extra content after launch

Some sort of extra content is in the works for Hollow Knight: Silksong that will be added after launch. That’s according to Ari Gibson and William Pellen, co-founders at Team Cherry.
The two were speaking with Bloomberg about the game’s development and the future. In that report, we hear that Team Cherry has “big plans to add extra content to Silksong in the months and years to come.” However, specifics have not been shared at this time.

August 20: Two more games are joining Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, with Mortal Kombat Mythologies and Mortal Kombat Special Forces now having been revealed.
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, an action adventure game, originally came to the N64 and PlayStation in 1997. Mortal Kombat: Special Forces is also in the same genre and launched in 2000, but only on the PS1.
