Watch Dogs’ budget was over $68 million prior to delay

With game development costs on the rise, it should come as no surprise that Watch Dogs has costed tens of millions for Ubisoft. Specifically, executive producer Stéphane Decroix told French business publication Challenges last year (before the end of year delay) that the game’s budget was in excess of 50 million euros. That amounts to about $68 million.

Unepic is just under 500MB

You won’t need to reserve too much space on your Wii U for Unepic’s release tomorrow. We’re hearing that the download clocks in at roughly 470MB. Pretty small indeed!

Japanese trademark for “Poketouch” filed in Japan

Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. have filed a Japanese trademark for “Poketouch”. It’s anyone’s guess what the name is about. As always, there’s also the possibility that the name won’t end up being used.

Kuroko Style hitting the Japanese 3DS eShop this spring

iNPLAS is working on Kuroko Style for the Japanese 3DS eShop, the company recently announced. The side-scrolling jump action title is due out this spring for 600 yen. Screenshots can be found above.

Unepic priced at $10

EnjoyUp Games has confirmed pricing for its new Wii U eShop title, Unepic. The publisher has informed us that the game will be set at $9.99 / €9.99.
Unepic is due out tomorrow in North America. Yesterday, EnjoyUp also announced a January 23 release date for Europe.
