Fire Emblem: Awakening officially launches tomorrow. However, it sounds like most retailers won’t have stock available until later in the week.

Some of the more well-known retailers in North America have said that Awakening has seen shipping delays. There are Best Buys claiming that they won’t have stock until Wednesday while GameStop may not be able to sell copies until Friday. Amazon’s product page also contains a notice that “manufacturer shipping delays” could affect pre-orders.

If you’re desperate to play Fire Emblem: Awakening, you could always purchase the game through the 3DS eShop. It should be going live on the digital store later tonight.

Fans may still be clamoring for Ace Attorney Investigations 2 to be brought overseas, but the game remains as a Japanese-only release. Unfortunately, Capcom’s latest update on the title isn’t too encouraging.

The possibility of Ace Attorney Investigations 2 localization was once again brought up during the most recent Ask Capcom stream. Responding to the inquiry, Capcom’s Christian Svensson noted that “there’s still no new news to share.” While he is still including Investigations 2 in proposals, “nothing has changed”.

Svensson stated:

“… in the case of Investigations 2, the answer is no, there’s still no new news to share. No movement on that front. I will only continue to say that I continue to bring it up in proposals. It continues to sit in some hoppers, but nothing is moving forward there right now at the moment. So status quo – nothing has changed.”

Monolith Soft’s “X” was revealed during a Nintendo Direct a little over a week ago. This isn’t the company’s only new project in development, however.

In an interview posted on Monolith’s site, Yasuyuki Honne – director of the Baten Kaitos games – stated that its Kyoto studio is continuing to look for staffers. 3D CG effect designers, motion designers, and 3D map modelers are wanted.

For those who are unaware, Monolith posses three divisions. Monolith Tokyo is making “X”. There’s also another team that previously developed Project X Zone. Monolith Kyoto is the final group.

When we last heard about Monolith Soft Kyoto, the studio was hiring for a secret 3DS game. We’re assuming this latest staff recruitment is related.

In a Facebook page promoting the new positions available at its Kyoto office, Monolith attached the image above. Is it a piece of concept art from the new 3DS title?

Hedgehog Day is done and over with. The holiday for Sonic fans took place yesterday, but SEGA didn’t make any new announcements about its classic franchise.

That being said, it does sound like SEGA is cooking up a few things for the Blue Blur this year. The company teased on its blog that it has “got some great stuff coming up this year, but we’re not ready to talk about it just yet.”

AckkStudios, the indie dev behind the upcoming Wii U eShop release of Two Brothers, is working on a second game for the console. The studio opened a new Tumblr for a mysterious title codenamed “Project Y2K”. It currently contains a piece of artwork (pictured above) and music sample.

In October, AckkStudios expressed some interest in bringing its 3D RPG to Wii U. Might this new Tumblr be related?

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD can now be pre-ordered from either Amazon or GameStop. Amazon’s product page is located here. Alternatively, you can pre-order from GameStop here.

Both retailers list a December 31 release date, but that’s obviously just a placeholder. Wind Waker will be out on Wii U this fall.

Resident Evil: Revelations producer Masachika Kawata fielded a few questions about Capcom’s new HD version in an interview with Nowgamer. Kawata commented on the game’s new aspects, why it’s being brought to consoles, and more. There’s general talk about the Resident Evil series, too.

Head past the break for the full Q&A.

Rockstar moved the launch of Grand Theft Auto V from spring to the fall a few days ago. However, the delay won’t result in any additional SKUs.

According to a GameSpot tweet quoting Rockstar, the company has “nothing new” to share regarding GTA V for either Wii U or PC. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 remain the only confirmed platforms for release.
