Kemco has announced what they will be offering at TGS 2025. We have a couple of Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 titles, with Depth Loop being playable on the show floor.

LEVEL-5 have revealed their lineup for the 2024 Tokyo Game Show. Every game they have slated in this showcase will feature demo stations, and be available for both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

Former Nintendo localization manager reveals origins of Princess Peach’s Toadstool name

Leslie Swan, a former localization manager at Nintendo of America who spent nearly three decades at the company, has spoken about how Princess Peach’s “Toadstool” name came to be.
In the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros., the character was simply known as Princess Peach. However, for the U.S. version, it changed to Princess Toadstool. It turns out that this happened due to the ad agency coming up with the name on its own.

Star Wars Outlaws gets first Nintendo Switch 2 update, patch notes – performance improvements and more

Just a few days after launch, Ubisoft has already come out with the first update for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Star Wars Outlaws.
Various enhancements and fixes are included. Players will find clearer visuals when moving quickly through the world or using binoculars, user interface updates and performance improvements.

Old School Rally will have a Nintendo Switch physical release

Old School Rally was previously announced for Nintendo Switch, but we’re now hearing that a physical release is in the cards as well. Meridiem will be bringing it out on December 4, 2025.
Although it’s said to be a special edition, this is largely a standard release. As a bonus though, a set of car cards will be included.

A new video comparison has come online for the Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series S versions of Star Wars Outlaws.
The game comes to Nintendo’s latest console after its initial launch last year. Although there were some questions about the port a bit before launch, it turns out that Ubisoft has come out with something that’s quite good.

Monstrous Lovers hitting Nintendo Switch this week

Ratalaika Games, along with Man-Eater Games, are gearing up for the debut of Monstrous Lovers on Nintendo Switch. It will be available this Friday, September 12.
Monstrous Lovers is a visual novel. In the game, players will romance hunky monsters in a classic American city.

Folly of the Wizards gets Nintendo Switch release date, new trailer

Numskull Games and UpFox Labs have determined a release date for Folly of the Wizards. The game, a spellbinding roguelike action experience, is due out on September 19, 2025.
Folly of the Wizards was originally unveiled for Nintendo Switch at the start of the year. However, at the time, we only had a general 2025 launch window.
