Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact

March 8: The new Hunter x Hunter game, titled Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact, has now been confirmed for Switch. A release window hasn’t been provided.

Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact is a 2D fighter, but beyond that, not much is known. A teaser was shared to start the year which we have below.

SaGa Emerald Beyond trailer

In celebration of the game’s release, SaGa Emerald Beyond has received a launch trailer. Square Enix sent this one out to Switch this week.

Garry's Mod Nintendo

April 24: Nintendo is always protective of its IPs, and that stance is now impacting Garry’s Mod which is being forced to take down content for the game.

Garry’s Mod, a sandbox title, has been around for nearly two decades. It was no stranger to tons of different mods, including ones tied to Nintendo. However, the company is now issuing takedown notices that will affect creations that extend all the way back to the release in 2006.


Another Crab's Treasure trailer

Coming off of the Another Crab’s Treasure launch is a new trailer for the game. Aggro Crab is showing off its soulslike once again.

Dwerve physical

The tower defense / dungeon crawler / RPG Dwerve previously appeared digitally on Switch, but now a physical release is happening. PM Studios announced plans for production of the boxed version today.

River City Girls 2 Double Dragon

WayForward isn’t done with River City Girls 2 as the studio just announced new DLC for the game which adds Billy and Jimmy Lee from Double Dragon. Both characters are arriving this summer.

Stories from Sol The Gun-Dog

Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog was previously announced, but publisher Astrolabe and developer Space Colony Studios confirmed today that a Switch version is in the works. Fans will be able to pick it up sometime this winter.

Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog is a visual novel adventure and a love letter to retro anime and ’80s sci-fi. Learn more about it in the following overview:

Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior

Quantic Dream has picked up Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior for publishing on Switch, the company announced today. The game launches on May 14, 2024.

Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior is a hack-and-slash action game made by Sand Door Studio. It first came out on PC earlier this year.

Pine: A Story of Loss

Today, publisher Fellow Traveller and developer Made Up Games announced that they’re planning Pine: A Story of Loss for Switch. The title is slated for late 2024.

Pine: A Story of Loss follows the tale of a woodworker grieving the recent passing of his wife and promises “a poignant and reflective story told through wordless interaction and hand-drawn animation.” More information can be found in the following overview:
