Capcom is releasing an update for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate today that will allow users to play the 3DS title online. You’ll need a couple of items in order to take advantage of the new functionality: a Wii U and a wired connection (LAN adapter). This will be limited to one person per Wii U.

Tomodachi Collection: New Life will be released in Japan on April 18 for 4,800 yen.

During today’s Japanese Nintendo Direct, Satoru Iwata announced that The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons will be released on the 3DS eShop next Thursday. Both games will cost 600 yen each. Through early March, gamers will be able to take advantage of a download bundle containing both titles for 1,000 yen.

Nintendo has announced its promised follow-up to last week’s Nintendo Direct presentation. In just a few hours, the company will host a second 3DS Direct for Japan. It’ll be taking place at 6 AM ET / 3 AM PT.

We do know that Nintendo will be talking about third-party titles in the early morning. What surprises – if any – could be in store?
