It won’t be much longer before the next Tales game is unveiled. That’s because Namco Bandai is gearing up for a reveal at the Tales of Festival.

While the latest issue of Jump has technically announced the new Tales game, the magazine only confirmed that it’s a completely original project. It features a new world that acts as the next generation of the franchise.

The Tales of Festival will take place at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama on June 2 and June 3.

Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura has basically been a weekly guest in Famitsu as of late. He spoke with the magazine once again this week.

We’re aware that Nomura said a couple of things in particular. He’s working on an unannounced title that is more of a lighter offering compared to his other games. He also joked about Kingdom Hearts III being a major curve ball.
