Renegade Kid’s Jools Watsham has provided updates on a variety of topics.

First, Watsham was asked how many long it’ll take to complete Mutant Mudds:

“First-time players will probably need about 8 hours to complete the game. Once you know what you’re doing, you’re looking at around 3 – 4 hours to complete each of the 40 levels.”

As it turns out, Nintendo and The King of Games won’t be releasing those Zelda t-shirts only in Japan. Consumers in other territories can get in on the offer, too.

The site states:

“In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of ‘The Legend of Zelda’, The King of Games is excited to introduce a very special edition t-shirt to mark the occassion. This gorgeous commemorative design will be available for worldwide simultaneous pre-order and will printed ONE TIME ONLY. No reprints, ever!”

You can pre-order one of two limited t-shirts starting on Saturday. Pre-orders will be accepted until February 20, 2012. As is the case in Japan, the merchanise won’t ship until early May.

Pre-order the t-shirt(s) here.

If you visit the 3DS eShop, you’ll be greeted with a message stating that a new system update is available. This firmware is different than the upgrade that has been offered since early December.

It doesn’t appear to include anything of great importance. Nintendo’s official description of the update is as follows:

“System stability improvements and other adjustments
Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”

Note that you must download the new firmware in order to access the eShop. The store will ask you to “Come back after you’ve updated”.
