Mighty Switch Force won’t be launching in Europe/Australia only next week. WayForward has confirmed on Twitter that the game will hit the North American eShop on December 22.

WayForward wrote on Twitter:

“This just in, Mighty Switch Force will see a simultaneous launch in the US, Europe, and Australia. 🙂 Thursday December 22. Spread the word!”

Guess this means we can disregard Nintendo’s release date listing for this title!

Thanks to Sebastian S for the tip!

Thanks to Thomas for the tip via Facebook, I now know that the GBA games available to 3DS Ambassadors are ready to be downloading in North America! They were supposed to go live sometime today, but it’s good to know that we won’t have to wait more than a few hours into the day to download them. Here’s how:

– Go to “Settings/Other” on the eShop

– Scroll down to “Your Downloads”

– Scroll down and locate the games you want to download

Don’t forget to try out the new “Download Later” option, allowing the downloads to take place while the 3DS is in sleep mode if you’re in wifi range. Go forth and enjoy the free gaming, 3DS early-adopters!

Gotta say, the box art on this one is looking pretty fantastic! Enjoy it in beautiful hi-resolution…

Big thanks to Lars for posting this one on our Facebook wall!

Nintendo has announced a new art book, Hyrule Historia, that’s coming out in Japan on December 23 for 3,255 yen. You can check out a sneak preview of it in the gallery above.

There’s a look to be found inside the package. 67 pages are dedicated to Skyward Sword, another 70 pages examine The World of Hyrule (including timeline talk), and there are sections that provide a look at Link’s character designs through the years.

Additionally, Hyrule Historia contains plenty of art from the various Zelda titles:

The Legend of Zelda – 4 pages
Link’s Adventure & Link to the Past – 2 pages
Link’s Awakening – 1 page
Ocarina of Time – 6 pages
Majora’s Mask – 3 pages
Wind Waker – 10 pages
Oracle series – 6 pages
Twilight Princess – 32 pages
Phantom Hourglass – 4 pages
Spirit Tracks – 22 pages

If you’re a Zelda fan, you’ll probably want this art book. At this time though, it’s only been announced for a Japanese release. We’ll let you know if Nintendo shares plans to bring Hyrule Historia elsewhere.

XSEED has posted a message on their Twitter account stating that they’ll be announcing a new game tomorrow. They also sent out the following teaser image:

Some people are thinking that this reveal could be for Senran Kagura. It could be something else, though. We’ll know if that guess is correct soon!
