NAMCO BANDAI Set to Release Open-Ended, Family-Friendly Vacation Destination Game

SAN JOSE, Calif., (September 22, 2011) – Leading video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced that Go Vacation™ for the Wii™ system has been sent to manufacturing for a final retail release on October 11 for the suggested retail price of $39.99. Go Vacation is set on the diverse resort of Kawawii Island, where players can traverse an open-ended world of exploration and adventure that includes dozens of fun and engaging activities for the whole family to enjoy. With a huge variety of different resorts to explore and activities to play, gamers will experience a fun vacation that never ends.

Frogger Makes Debut on Nintendo 3DS™ Handheld System With Non-Stop 3D Action

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Sept 22, 2011 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced that Frogger 3D is now available for the Nintendo 3DS™ handheld system. The excitement of Frogger’s timeless run-and-dodge gameplay is back and better than ever, all in 3D and just in time for Frogger’s 30th Anniversary celebration.

Featuring new graphics, novel levels twists and new friends to help Frogger make it across the way, Frogger 3D introduces the classic Frogger gameplay on an all-new platform. Using the tight controls on the 3DS, players can run, dash, and dodge past moving obstacles and enemies. Players can also team up with some of Frogger’s special frog friends in certain levels to destroy obstacles, absorb damage or light the way in dark spaces.

– Turn Cutter: where you swing around a pole, using your keyblade to deal damage to your surroundings
– Reality Shift: special marker will appear on an enemy; press X and A to switch to this mode
– Action will freeze, Sora or Riku will disappear from the top screen and reappear on the touch screen
– Perform different moves such as Sora’s sling shot while in Reality Shift mode
– Traverse Town has two new areas
