Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet leaks round 2

A ton of rumored details about Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet started to leak last week, and another round of information surfaced over the past few days.

The supposed tidbits come from the original sources as last time. Centro Leaks is one of the Twitter accounts that has rounded up the details. Information again covers new Pokemon, returning Pokemon, plus other aspects like Gym Leaders, breeding/Eggs, and even how big the map is.

QUByte Classics: Thunderbolt Collection

QUByte Classics: Thunderbolt Collection has been announced for Switch and will be available in just a couple of weeks. Everyone will be able to pick it up as of August 4, 2022.

This new collection includes two vertically-scrolling shoot ’em up titles. QUByte’s port includes the 8-bit and 16-bit versions of the game, both with official English localization and new features such as control remapping, different screen types, and save states.

orbit.industries update 1.0.3

Another update has gone live for orbit.industries, with the game now moving up to version 1.0.3.

Players can access a new round of improvements, balancing adjustments, and fixes.

OlliOlli World Oxenfree

The worlds of OlliOlli World and Oxenfree are colliding as part of a new collaboration.

Private Division and Roll7’s partnership with Night School Studio comes about in celebration of OlliOlli World’s VOID Riders DLC. Players can now skate through a procedurally generated level in OlliOlli World through the Gnarvana Portal which unlocks an all-new remix by Nikitch of scntfc’s “Beacon Beach” from Oxenfree.

River City Saga: Three Kingdoms gameplay

Arc System Works brought River City Saga: Three Kingdoms to Switch in the west this week, and new gameplay has emerged. 24 minutes of footage has come in.

Path of Titans

Today, Alderon Games announced that it’s bringing the dinosaur-based massively multiplayer online game Path of Titans to Switch. A release is planned for this summer.

Path of Titans “invites players to become a dinosaur, evolving from egg to adult in a rich ecosystem filled with 26 dino species, AI creatures, and up to 200 other human players.” Players will be able to explore an environment featuring natural events as they attempt to avoid death and augment their dinosaur.

Original (7/15): Square Enix has just put out a final trailer for its remake of Live A Live, ahead of its release on Switch next week.

This trailer showcases segments from all eight of the game’s main stories, as well as teasing a hidden ninth story that is unlocked upon completing the other eight. As a reminder, the RPG’s eight main stories have all received individual trailers and take place across a variety of time periods and locations, including Prehistory, Imperial China, Present Day, The Distant Future, and more.

Nintendo Switch Sports summer update

Nintendo will be releasing the summer update for Nintendo Switch Sports on July 26, 2022, the company has confirmed.

The patch is something that the Big N has touched on previously. In soccer, Leg Strap functionality will be added. It will also include new moves for volleyball, the ability to reach for higher ranks in the Pro League, and room IDs for friends.

Immortals Fenyx Rising spin-off Polynesian culture

A new rumor has suggested that Immortals Fenyx Rising is getting a new spin-off planned based on Hawaiian Polynesian culture.

Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb shared what he heard about the project from a source during a Games Mess Decides podcast episode. Other tidbits include that the God narrator will again be featured, though apparently Ubisoft may go for a visual style that won’t be as similar to Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
