Sabotage Studio announced today that Throes of the Watchmaker, a free DLC for Sea of Stars, is coming for Nintendo Switch on May 20.

The expansion brings over eight hours of new content, including fresh areas to explore, new dungeons, mini-games, enemies, bosses, and puzzles. Players can also look forward to new playable classes for Valere and Zale, as well as a new companion, Arty.

Moadra

Gloomsoft announced today that it’s putting Moadra on multiple consoles, including Nintendo Switch. The game is due out later in 2025.

Moadra is a dark sci-fi Metroidvania game. Players will descend to the otherworldly wasteland of Protea VI, where nothing is as it seems and unspeakable horrors wait around every corner.

Cattle Country release date

Playtonic and Castle Pixel just came through with a release date for Cattle Country, their cozy cowboy adventure life sim. It’ll be heading to Nintendo Switch on May 27, 2025.

Cattle Country was one of the last Nintendo Switch announcements we received last year. The most recent launch window given was early 2025, but the game needed a bit more time to wrap up development.

Formula Legends

3DClouds today unveiled Formula Legends, which is planned for Nintendo Switch. The title launches later in 2025.

Formula Legends is a new arcade racing experience that emulates the world’s most-beloved motorsport series. It features short tracks, changeable weather conditions, tire degradation, refueling, driving assets, and more.

Chronicles of the Wolf release date

Chronicles of the Wolf, the action platformer from PQube, PixelHeart, and Migami Games, now has a release date. It’s coming to Nintendo Switch on June 19, 2025.

Plans to launch the title on the system were just confirmed back in February. Last we heard, it was slated for the summer – so we’re technically getting it earlier than expected, even if only by a day.

NIntendo eShop changes

Nintendo made various additions and changes to Switch with the system’s new 20.0.0 update, and it turns out that the modifications also apply to the eShop, including the store’s charts.

In the past, rankings were based on top downloads over a two-week period. Now, however, Nintendo says that the Switch eShop charts are displayed based on top revenue over the past three days.


Reincarnation Game

Reincarnation Game was announced for Nintendo Switch today, and it’s a notable reveal as the creators of Dragon Quest and Blue Lock are involved. The title launches digitally next year in Japan.

Any is handling development while ArtePiazza will be publishing. Yuji Horii, known for his work on Dragon Quest, is an advisor. Muneyuki Kaneshiro, who is behind the Blue Lock manga, is the concept planner. It is the first collaboration between these two.

Today, solo developer Thomas Waterzooi announced Please, Touch The Artwork 2 for Nintendo Switch. The title launches on May 23, 2025.

Please, Touch The Artwork 2 is a spiritual sequel to the cozy puzzler, but this time around players will go on a journey through the iconic paintings of James Ensor. The short hidden-object adventure game features five unique worlds.

As shared by Hamster, Super Xevious will be appearing on Nintendo Switch as the console’s latest Arcade Archives games. All major regions are getting it tomorrow, May 1.

Super Xevious only released in Japan in 1984. It’s actually very similar to the original Xevious, which was a vertical shoot ’em up title.

The design is pictured below. This version of the character is based on his appearance in Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart World. The icon is built in right into the system itself, meaning you don’t need to earn it through Nintendo Switch Online via My Nintendo Platinum Points.
