The Super Mario Bros. Movie concept art

Megan Rose Ruiz and Travis Ruiz, two artists that worked on The Super Mario Bros. Movie, have revealed new concept art – plus sketches and other images – from their time working on the project.

Many of the images are for Toad, including one dedicated to designs. Megan said they were initially “asked to explore what different body types for the Toads might look like.” They added that “for the final film, I think there was only variation in color and outfit”. 

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown gameplay

With Ubisoft bringing out Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown just recently, gameplay is here from the final Switch version. You can see the prologue and other story bits, another with some Metroidvania action.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy was developed with the RE Engine, the game’s producer has revealed.

Kenichi Hashimoto was speaking about challenges of the re-release in an interview with 4Gamer. RE Engine is Capcom’s proprietary engine, but the games were originally built with other technology. Capcom also hasn’t done much with the RE Engine when it comes to adventure games.
