3DS and Wii U online support to end in April 2024

Nintendo has announced the end of online support for 3DS and Wii U, with both platforms going offline in early April 2024. An exact date was not provided.
This is another nail in the coffin for both platforms following the closure of the eShops. Back in March, the 3DS and Wii U stores ended purchases and downloads of content such as demos.
Synergia getting new NextGen Edition on Switch with Sunrise expansion

Original (9/25): Synergia originally appeared on Switch in February 2021, but it’s returning with an entirely new NextGen Edition. It will launch on October 3, 2023.
This version of the game is highlighted by the addition of a Sunrise expansion. It also comes with new in-game content never before seen, including a 56-page original artbook, in-game comic reader, music listening room, and more.

Original (9/22): Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island will be seeing an English release in the west, a retailer listing from VGP reveals. The game is listed with a February 27, 2024 release date.
Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island was recently announced for Switch in Japan as Shinen the Wanderer 6. No news was shared at the time about a western launch, however. It now appears that Spike Chunsoft will have the title ready to go for early 2024.

Bethesda’s new version of Quake II just started distribution of a new update, and it’s live on Switch.

Today, Lucky Last Studio announced that it’s working on Skate Bums for Switch. The game will be available in early 2024.

Gravity Circuit update adds Speedrun Mode and more

Gravity Circuit just received a new version 1.0.8 update, and it’s highlighted by a brand new Speedrun Mode.
The mode can be unlocked with a special cheat code and lets players “skip various cutscenes and interactions for a smoother gameplay experience.” Also now available is loadout customization, a Training Room, and more.
