Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection details

Limited Run Games has provided new details on Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection. We first found out about this a few months ago, but little information was initially provided.

The Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection uses Limited Run’s Carbon Engine. It’ll feature Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues, originally released across NES, Game Boy, and SNES.

RoadOut

Today, publisher Dangen Entertainment and developer Rastrolabs Game Studio announced that they’re teaming up on the upcoming Switch game RoadOut. It’s on track to debut in 2024.

RoadOut is a post-apocalyptic action adventure game that mixes dungeon exploration and racing mechanics. You’ll be able to explore the world in your cat, then battle your way through puzzle-filled dungeons on foot. Cited inspirations include The Legend of Zelda, GTA and Rock’n Roll Racing.

Pry Into the Void

Publisher Dangen Entertainment and developer Ernest Placido today announced that Pry Into the Void is coming to Switch. A release is planned for 2024.

The game, a bleak RPG inspired by Shin Megami Tensei, has players prying into the hearts of monsters, conversing with their souls, and navigating challenging moral dilemmas to recruit them as allies in order to exploit enemy weaknesses. This is the first entry in Project: Retched Garden, a collection of monster-taming RPGs where the world dies and the flowers scream.

Super Crazy Rhythm Castle

Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is on the way to Switch, publisher Konami and developer Second Impact Games just announced. The title does not yet have a release window.

Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is a character-based rhythm adventure game in which players go on an adventure through a bizarre castle, with a cruel king hell-bent on throwing them off rhythm. The game can be played alone or with up to three friends.

Ahead of its arrival on Switch tomorrow, gameplay footage of Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg has come in. We have a substantial forty-eight minutes of the RPG showing off its opening, as well as a look at the original version, which is included with the digital deluxe version.

Hamster is putting Strato Fighter on Switch eShop as the latest Arcade Archives game, the company just announced. A release is planned for July 13, 2023.

Originally developed and released on Arcade by Tecmo back in 1991, Strato Fighter takes place in 2135 AD, after Earth Forces were attacked by an unknown enemy. The game is a vertical side-scrolling shooter in which the player pilots a ship and will be repelling enemies that attack from all directions with various weapons.

Today is Nippon Ichi Software’s 30 year anniversary, and the studio has made a special 30th anniversary website to celebrate. This site contains loads of neat little details and information, including a teaser page for four upcoming 30th anniversary games.

Of these, only one is confirmed: Hayarigami 1-2-3 Pack, a horror visual novel collection releasing on Switch in Japan later this July. The other three titles are complete mysteries which will likely be announced in the coming months.

Switch Split Pad Compact Sonic

HORI is adding two more designs to its lineup of Switch Split Pad Compacts, with Sonic the Hedgehog and Pac-Man now getting the spotlight.

As a reminder, the Split Pad Compact is an updated version of the Split Pad Pro with a focus on handheld player. It features full-size analog sticks and a d-pad plus turbo functions and assignable rear buttons. However, it does not support motion controls, HD Rumble, NFC, and the IR camera.
