In celebration of Hobbit Day, the release date for Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game was just announced. The game heads to Switch on March 25, 2024.

Today’s news follows the recent delay announcement that came in a few days ago. After it was originally slated for this year, the title was pushed back to early 2025. Now we have a proper date.

Nintendo’s latest maintenance schedule for the week of September 22, 2024 is now available.

As of now there’s one session officially scheduled for this week. However, there’s another a bit of downtime planned a bit further down the road.

Loddlenaut gameplay

Planetiles

MythicOwl, the developer behind Harmonee’s Odyssey, has confirmed that it will release Planetiles on Switch in just a few days. The title arrives on September 30, 2024.

Planetiles, a serene city builder with roguelike elements, has players building and transforming barren planets into flourishing worlds. More resources will be made available as the biomes grow.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Depths origins interview

Nintendo has spoken about how the Depths in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom came to be, including how it was formed late in development.
