As we’ve hinted at previously, we’re changing up the schedule for Game Nights. From here on out, we’ll be hosting each event somewhere around the start of the month.

Here’s the lineup of Game Nights for the rest of year:

October – September 29
November – November 3
December – December 1

Game Nights used to be a weekly occurrence. However, Austin and I both feel that monthly events would be the best approach to take moving forward. For one thing, we don’t want people to get burned out with the whole thing – it’s better to have that feeling of wanting more as opposed to ultimately being bored with the whole affair. There are other factors involved as well – such as scheduling and what have you – so I do believe this will be beneficial for everyone involved, including Austin and I.

I’m truly, truly sorry if we’ve disappointed anyone who has been participating in Game Nights. With this new schedule, I can guarantee that we won’t be making any additional major changes to the event in the future.

The 3DS Game Card Case is sold out over on the North American Club Nintendo website, but it’s still going strong in Japan. Actually, the country has received several new designs – each of which can be found in the gallery above.

Late last month, Nicalis announced that it had cancelled Yatagarasu for the 3DS in favor of a PS Vita version. That news wasn’t exactly well-received by Nintendo fans.

Some questioned Nicalis’ decision on Twitter, but the studio promised that more games are on the way to the 3DS as well as Wii U. The company also said that it “always” intends to support Nintendo systems. In one particular tweet, Nicalis appeared to tease two more 3DS titles in the form of asterisks.

Nicalis wrote:

A-Train 3D, the latest entry in the long-running series, is hitting Japan on December 12. Pricing is set at 6,090 yen.

As usual, Artdink is in charge of development. A-Train 3D follows the acclaimed DS game “A-Train DS”, where the title has undergone various upgrades. New details include the cityscape being able to change over time, and there is also the possibility of Bullet Train being applied.

Pokemon X/Y’s Super Training was given a fresh look during today’s Pokemon Smash episode in Japan.

In the mini-game, players use the touchscreen to fire balls into different parts of Magneton. They will, at the same time, need to avoid large balls as their Pokemon sits on a platform.

You’ll be able to see a numerical value added to the stat once the game has completed. Pokemon Smash’s example showed a +8 on Special Attack. The specifics of the number are currently a mystery.

As previously mentioned, Pokemon Smash will have another feature on Pokemon X/Y next week. A teaser showed Mewtwo Mega Evolving and promised a shocking revelation about Mega Evolution in general.
