It’s almost time for The Game Awards 2023 to start, so we have the official live stream ready to go for the event. It will begin at 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM ET / 12:30 AM in the UK / 1:30 AM in Europe.
Just like past years, The Game Awards 2023 will include winners being announced across various categories as well as new reveals and other announcements. We’re not sure how much Switch-related news will be showing up here, but Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be getting a new trailer. A bunch of Nintendo games are also up for awards, including Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Game of the Year – find the full nominees here.

Pix’n Love today announced that it will be handling a physical release of Born of Bread on Switch. It’s on track for Q1 2024.
Right now that’s the only information we have. Pix’n Love hasn’t clarified if there’ll be any special editions, nor did it provide information about pre-orders. Presumably we’ll be hearing more in the months ahead.

Eastward: Octopia release date set for January, new trailer

Today, Chucklefish and Pixpil revealed the final release date for Eastward: Octopia, the game’s upcoming DLC expansion. It’ll be ready to go on January 31, 2024.
Eastward: Octopia was previously announced during a Nintendo Direct in September. It was said to be launching during the holiday.
