My Nintendo updates with latest rewards in North America

Update (8/17): Another reward has been added. The Wonderful 101 can be had for 30 percent off in exchange for 70 Gold Points.
Original (8/16): My Nintendo has added in a few new rewards. One is related to Smash Bros., two are for Tank Troopers, and the final one is for Flip Wars.
As for Smash Bros., Nintendo has added in the Smash Controller app for 3DS. It’s basically what allows you to use the handheld as a controller for Smash Bros. Wii U. It costs 10 Gold Points.

Alchemic Dungeons out this Thursday in North America

Alchemic Dungeons made it to Europe over a month ago. In North America, the digital game is scheduled for this week. Circle Entertainment announced via Twitter that a release is planned for Thursday.
Alchemic Dungeons is a roguelike featuring item crafting. More information is included below.
Europe is finally getting SmileBASIC this week

It has taken quite awhile for SmileBASIC to reach Europe. In North America, the 3DS programming app hit the eShop back in 2015. The wait has been even longer if you consider the Japanese release, which took place a year earlier.
But we do finally have some news: SmileBASIC arrives in Europe this week. Nintendo’s website lists it for a Thursday launch.
SmileBASIC is a portable version of a programming language known as BASIC. BASIC is a programming language designed to help beginners learn to program.
As soon as you start SmileBASIC, you can begin programming! When you’re finished, you can play the game you’ve made! Enjoy intuitive, trouble-free programming.
A range of versatile instructions
- Pictures and words that pop-out from the screen!
- Information obtained from various different sensors. Voice input and playback via the microphone
- Versus play via Local Play
- Draw instructions for lines and circles, filling, and more
- Music composition using MML
Useful tools
- SMILE Tool (for checking SE and character numbers)
- Paint Tool (for drawing characters and background images)
- Animation Tool (for creating flipbook animations)
- Mapping Tool (for arranging tiles to create maps)
- Waveform Tool (for sampling and creating waveforms)

- Characters and background images that can be used in a variety of contexts
- Over 100 sound effects and 40 BGM tunes
- Simple programs for helping to learn BASIC

Dragon Quest III out for 3DS in Japan on August 24

Square Enix has nailed down a release date for Dragon Quest III on 3DS. In Japan, the classic RPG will launch on August 24.
The first Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest II previously arrived yesterday. The two games are priced at 600 yen and 850 yen respectively. For Dragon Quest III, Square Enix is upping the price to 1,500 yen.
