Level-5 sales: Professor Layton, Inazuma Eleven, Ni no Kuni, and Guild

Professor Layton has been Level-5’s most-successful series. The franchise has spawned 15 million copies around the world since the original’s release, the company announced during its “Vision” event in Japan held earlier today.
Level-5 provided sales updates on other IPs, too. Inazuma Eleven has also been access with global sales reaching 6.5 million units. Meanwhile, combined sales of Ni no Kuni on the PlayStation 3 and DS stand at 1.4 million sales worldwide.
There’s also a bit of news about Level-5’s Guild series. The likes of Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, and Crimson Shroud, have sold 400,000 digital copies in total. Around 50% of the share comes from overseas downloads.
World Conqueror 3D details

Circle Entertainment has shared new details about its upcoming 3DS eShop game, World Conqueror 3D. You can find the new information below.
– Strategy is “beyond [that of] a board game”
– Each country has advantages like cheaper costs to recruit armies, powerful tanks, unstable infantry, etc.
– Enemies in the countries differ, as do the tax income
– Having a lot of land but a poor country won’t let you easily protect them since you need money to recruit in your defense
– Game uses the mobile title World Conqueror 1945 as its foundation
– Has been redesigned
– Presentation improved for a “more comfortable” look
– Can have a challenging level of difficulty, but taking into account the 3DS’ “many casual gamers”
– Should be out around October in North America/Europe
– Out a month later in Japan
– Pricing not finalized
– Will be set at a “reasonable” cost
– 12 campaigns
– 3 storylines
– Apparently has at least 50 hours of gameplay

Chibi-Robo Photography heading west, based on OFLC rating

Chibi-Robo Photography came out on the Japanese 3DS eShop several weeks ago. There was some concern that the download wouldn’t make it west, but it does indeed look like an overseas launch is planned.
The OFLC has rated “Chibi-Robo! Let’s Go Photo!” – a new name, but definitely the same game. Nintendo hasn’t made an announcement for North America or Europe, but you can rest easy knowing that the eShop release will probably be coming over eventually.

Darts Up 3D will launch on September 5 for $2.99 / €2.99. The Wii U version is expected in November.
Steel Empire has improvements on 3DS

The first screenshots and details for the new version of Steel Empire have emerged. We’ve learned that the 3DS eShop release is not just a simple port. This time around, Steel Empire will feature improved visuals, stereoscopic 3D support, and rebalanced difficulty.
Steel Empire is hitting the Japanese 3DS eShop in December. Given UFO Interactive’s fairly strong relationship with developer Starfish, a North American launch could be in the cards.

Yatagarasu no longer in development for 3DS

Nicalis originally announced Yatagarasu for the 3DS eShop. There was radio silence since the reveal last August, but the company finally gave an update today. Unfortunately, Nintendo fans won’t be pleased with the news.
Yatagarasu is no longer in development for 3DS. Nicalis explained today that the project was switched to the PlayStation Vita “due to the incredibly overwhelming response from the fighting gaming community.”
Governor of Poker coming to the 3DS eShop

Teyon is bringing Governor of Poker, originally an iOS release from Youdagames, to the 3DS eShop. A release is planned by the end of 2013.
Governor of Poker’s story is set in the Wild West. Players will only have a little bit of money to start out with, but more funds will become available over the course of the game. You’ll spend winnings on houses, industrial assets, rentals, and eventually the state of Texas. 25 achievements will be included.
Another FK Digital game hitting the 3DS eShop in October

FK Digital, developer of Witch & Hero and Wakedas, has another 3DS eShop game in the works. Publisher Circle Entertainment confirmed that the title will launch in October. The company didn’t reveal any details, however.
The developer FK Digital promised to bring the third game on eShop, which will be planning to released on Ocotober! Let us support Wakedas!
