Sayonara Umihara Kawase was… somewhere at E3 2013. What does that mean exactly?

For now, Sayonara Umihara Kawase is only for the Japanese market. But developer Agatsuma Entertainment is interested in bringing it to the west, and may have used E3 as an opportunity to show the title to publishers.

Atlus brought over Agatsuma’s previous 3DS game, Code of Princess, to North America. It “exceeded expectations”.

Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma answered a few fan questions on the series’ official Facebook page a few weeks ago.

Aonuma commented on what he’s most excited about with Wind Waker HD, who his favorite character is in the game, and which feature he’s most looking forward to in A Link Between Worlds.

Something I wasn’t actually aware of: Aonuma wrote all of the text for the King of Hyrule.

Apparently Pokémon is big enough a brand to warrant having its own exposition/convention in Japan this year, as the Pokémon Company has set up a large-scale event called “Pokémon Game Show” to showcase games like Pokémon Tretta, the trading card game, and Pokémon X/Y, the latter of which will be playable for attendees.

The show will take place in Tokyo at ‘Tokyo Big Sight’ on August 17th and 18th this year. More info to come.
