Announced today, Limited Run Games is working on a re-release of Little Samson for Nintendo Switch. Fans will be able to grab it it in 2026.
Little Samson originally released in 1993. The action platformer was made by Takeru and published by Taito.

The classic game Slam City with Scottie Pippen is making a return on Nintendo Switch, Limited Run Games revealed today. Look for it in 2026.
Slam City with Scottie Pippen originally debuted in 1994. The FMV basketball title appeared on a few different platforms – namely SEGA CD, SEGA 32X, and MS-DOS.

Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix will be appearing on Nintendo Switch, Limited Run Games just announced in partnership with Square Enix. It’s due out in 2026.
Limited Run Games shared its plans for Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix during a LRG3 event today, which includes a future physical release.

Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch will be appearing on Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. The game doesn’t have a release window just yet.
Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch is an arcade style, side-scrolling beat ’em up game. It promises “tag-team mechanics, ridiculous irreverent humor, and fast-paced action.”

July 22: Viewfinder is making its way to Nintendo Switch, Thunderful and Sad Owl Studios announced today. The game will be available on the platform this winter.
Viewfinder, a first-person puzzle adventure game, first debuted in 2023. The hook is that photos, paintings, sketches, screenshots, and posters can be placed in the world to become a fabric of its reality, which reshapes the environment.

Publisher IndieArk, together with independent developer Sky9 Games, has announced that its new title Strike Force Heroes is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 6.
The 2D arena run ‘n gun multiplayer shooter captures the timeless essence of classic action games. Players can choose from a variety of character classes and join the AlphaSquad to take on enemies across more than a dozen vibrant maps.

Not long after it came to Nintendo Switch digitally, Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga is now getting the physical treatment. Limited Run Games just shared its plans for production today.
At least for now, it seems that only a collector’s edition will be sold. Each unit includes the game with a digital soundtrack code, two CD soundtrack, booklet, steelbook, double-sided poster, hardcover art book, acrylic standee, and keychain.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild getting new vinyl soundtrack release

Years after the game originally launched, Nintendo and Laced Records have announced a new vinyl soundtrack release for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This will be out on June 19, 2026.
A 2LP set with 34 tracks and an 8LP box set with 130 tracks will both be sold. If you’re interested in something a bit less expensive, the standard black vinyl collections will be available as well.

Strudio Company is about to launch Dungeon Minesweeper on Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. The title comes out for the console tomorrow, October 30.
Dungeon Minesweeper is a puzzle adventure game with roguelike and minesweeper elements. Players will explore a dungeon where each tile reveals a number – a clue to nearby dangers. You’ll need to step carefully, avoid hidden traps, collect resources, and face lurking monsters.

Minecraft 1.21.120 update out now, patch notes

Minecraft has now issued its latest update with version 1.21.120.
Mojang Studios is implementing lots of adjustments and fixes. Animated lantern textures have been added, the copper golem statues will now glow when placed in a glow item frame, and interacting with the copper golem will make it drop whatever its carrying. These are just some of the highlights.
