Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers will not be redeemable for Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games

Although no official announcement has been made, it has been revealed that Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers will not be redeemable for Nintendo Switch 2 games when the system launches.
A note has been added to the production description, which reads as follows:
Please note that Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers cannot be redeemed for Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games.
This news follows the announcement that from March 25, users will no longer be able to earn Gold points. No plans for an alternate incentive scheme has been announced by Nintendo at this stage, although it is possible that plans may be revealed during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct which is scheduled to take place on April 2.

Turnip Boy Robs a Bank will appear just as it did when it previously landed on the Nintendo eShop. No extra bonuses are planned, but this will be the first time it’s being made available in boxed form.

January 1: Antipaint came to PC a little while back to a strong reception, and a Nintendo Switch version is now confirmed to be int he works. The port is “coming soon”.
Antipaint is a roguelike shooter with plenty of action. The title has players battling famous works of art, and after defeating each one, they’ll join your collection.

Sanuk Games today announced Jump Man, and is targeting the game for Nintendo Switch 2. The company says it will release the title “if and when Nintendo allows.” Given how Sanuk has previous shipped games on Nintendo platforms, this one should come over as well – it just may take some time.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending February 15, 2025 is now available.
We do get a new game here, which is The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak 2 appearing at #25. 69 percent of the game’s sales were on PS5 compared to 21 percent on Nintendo Switch and 9 percent on PS4. Also, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is still present, but is falling as the game continues to be available on the market.

Forever Entertainment is working with Buff Studio to port Blue Wednesday to Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. It will be available on March 27, 2025.
