Bethesda’s Pete Hines has again commented on the company’s support of Switch, and has shared some interesting information in the process.
According to Hines, a segment of Nintendo’s audience “plays other kinds of things on their platform that also likes our stuff.” On top of that, Switch’s userbase involves a good amount of players “whose entry point into the platform is our title.” Hines ultimately concludes that Bethesda is actually bringing new players to the console.

Lab Zero Games hosted a panel at Anime Expo 2019 this week, and dedicated a significant amount of time to its Metroidvania RPG Indivisible. That included news about the release date – or lack thereof.
Last we heard, Indivisible was on track for 2019. That’s still the case, but Lab Zero Games wasn’t able to share the release date at its panel. The good news is that they do have a date in mind internally, and it will be announced soon. Lab Zero said the game will arrive “sooner than you think.”
Lab Zero added that Indivisible is “really close to being done.” The studio is now in the final stages of bug fixing, polish, and balancing.

Super Mario Maker 2 sold through 55% of its initial shipment in Japan

Famitsu reported a few days ago that Super Mario Maker 2 shifted nearly 200,000 copies in its first week. Dengeki has things quite a bit lower at 163,000 units, but regardless, it’s the best debut for the series yet. The Wii U and 3DS versions each sold about 150,000 copies in their first weeks.
Dengeki also mentions that Super Mario Maker 2 sold through about 55 percent of its initial shipment. That’s comparable to the 56 percent for the Wii U original and 50 percent for the 3DS edition.
We’ll also mention here that Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball for Switch sold 79,000 copies in its first week with a sell-through rate of 65 percent. However, since Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2018 sold 192,000 units on PS4 and PS Vita, Dengeki feels that the Switch release is off to a bit of a slow start.
