Nintendo Switch Online FAQ – cloud saves expire when subscription ends

Nintendo UK has posted a new FAQ for Nintendo Switch Online that contains quite a bit of interesting information.
When your subscription to the service ends, cloud saves expire. Nintendo says explicitly: “Save data stored with Save Data Cloud cannot be kept outside of the duration of your Nintendo Switch Online membership.” On the other hand, NES save data can be maintained if you keep local save data.

The Escapists: Complete Edition is coming to Switch on September 25, Team17 has announced. It’ll include all prisons from the base game plus nine bonus maps, including one which has never previously been released on console – ‘Fhurst Peak’.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gains Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit support on September 19

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is just a few days away from supporting the new Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit. After an update goes live on September 19, players will be able to use the Toy-Con Car, Toy-Con Pedal, and Toy-Con Key to control their in-game vehicle.
As you’ll remember, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe also supports the Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit. That functionality was added back in June.

Persona Q2: Battle BGM trailer

The latest Persona Q2 trailer from Atlus is all about music. In Japan, first-print copies of the game come with a download code for a bonus battle BGM set, featuring music from Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona 5 and the first Persona Q game, as well as a unique 3DS home menu theme.
