Here’s the full roundup:

September 17: After it was just announced a few days ago, Nintendo has come out with a lengthy trailer for Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2. The seven-minute video covers both games specifically before covering new additions for the Nintendo Switch release. Note that the video is in Japanese, but an English version will likely come in later.

Here’s an overview of the game:

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

Hollow Knight Silksong difficulty

At the ACMI Game Worlds exhibition in Melbourne, Team Cherry’s Ari Gibson and William Pellen commented on the difficulty of Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Just like the series’ first game, Silksong has been getting a lot of love. But there have been a few discussion points, including the difficulty.

Gibson shared the following:

Lumo 2 release date

Numskull Games and Triple Eh today set a release date for Lumo 2. On Nintendo Switch, the game is scheduled for October 17, 2025.

Lumo 2, a puzzle platformer, is a sequel to 2016 indie hit that previously came to Nintendo Switch. We initially heard about the project back in April.

The Touryst Deluxe

August 18: The Touryst is making a return with a brand new Deluxe on Nintendo Switch 2. Shin’en just made the announcement, but is currently deciding on launch timing. We do know it will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 upon release.

The title previously came to Nintendo Switch. For the Deluxe release, Shin’en says it’s packing in new content, including a new island and monument, new items and quests, and improved graphics.

August 27: A new set of Nintendo Switch Online icons are now available Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which celebrates the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Designs were previously went live awhile back, though now fans can get their hands on the latest ones.

It’s the usual deal here. You can nab icons for characters, backgrounds, and frames. As we typically see, characters cost 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Backgrounds and frames are 5 Platinum Points each.

Artis Impact is a turn-based RPG that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world with humans and AI. Players will visit pixel landscapes, battle enemies, and uncover secrets.

Everybody's Golf Hot Shots review

System: Switch
Release date: September 4, 2025
Developer: Hyde
Publisher: Bandai Namco

Whoever originally coined the phrase “comparison is the thief of joy” must have had access to a time machine solely built to show them 2025’s Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots. The latest in a string of first-party Sony franchises shorn of their exclusivity, Bandai Namco and development studio Hyde have created a game that seems overtly reliant on players having no prior experience with the series. Seeing as it’s been eight years since the last Everybody’s Golf, perhaps there are players out there who won’t have had the pleasure of hitting these hallowed links – but fair warning: this review is going to read more like a PSA than an objective deconstruction of Hyde/Bamco’s work.
